5600 BANK WORKERS SACKED...

Last week, Sterling Bank sacked 400 while Mainstreet Bank offloaded over 650 of its workers. Yesterday, First Bank joined in the ‘sack race’ by laying off over 600 of its workforce. This brings to 5,600 the total number of employees of various banks across the country sacked in the last three weeks.

The sad part is that most affected staff are those that have put in between 25 and 30 years of service.
I dont care about banking revolution policies being carried out every now and then...but have they considered if Nigeria is quite matured enough to lay aside workers into a job market that is totally insecured...and other social issues that follow it...
