The Lagos State Police Command is presently looking for a truck driver identified simply as Adewale, who vanished with 169 motorcycles given to him to convey to Niger State from Lagos.
It was learnt that the motorcycles, worth over N15m, are owned by Zuki North Marketing.
Police authorities’ report stated that Wale, who works for Bodlak Nig. Ltd., was hired to convey the motorcycles.

Wale was said to have given the victim his boss’s business card with the name, Mr. Bode Alakija, written on it at the time the goods were being loaded into the truck and even gave his address as 108, South-West, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The owner of the goods, Mr. Godwin Ikejiani, told Newsmen that after the motorcycles were loaded, all attempts to contact the driver or his boss had proved abortive as their phones had been switched off.
He said, “Most of the motorcycles were unassembled and loaded into the truck at Oshodi and we agreed that he would transport the goods to Niger and I paid them N1.6m

“However, all attempts to contact the driver and his boss proved abortive and I had no choice but to report the matter at Mosafejo Police Station.”
Meanwhile when policemen went to Oyo State, they discovered that the address given by the driver was fake .
